Karen Brause Karen Brause had a 36 yr professional career at Merck & Co, Inc. in various capacities
(research, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, capital improvements, computer
systems, environmental, procurement and various service organizations).
This broad career provided unique opportunities and skills which allowed the ability to
harness diverse thinking and work in team environments as a participant and in leadership
roles.
Throughout the years, Karen served on Rehoboth Concert Band (RCB) Board, Plantations
East HOA Board and church organizations in a variety of leadership roles and
responsibilities.
Creativity and music has always been a core part of life and since retirement, Karen enjoys
creating stained glass art and is a percussionist in the Delaware Symphonic Winds (DSW),
the Rehoboth Concert Band (RBC) and SODELO (Southern Delaware Orchestra).
